Troubleshooting#

If your form submissions are not appearing in WhatsApp, check the common issues below.

“Domain Not Allowed”#

This is the most common issue. For security reasons, FormBeep verifies the origin of every submission.

Solution:

  1. Log in to your FormBeep dashboard.
  2. Go to Domains.
  3. Ensure your site’s domain is listed exactly as it appears in the browser, without http:// or https:// or trailing slashes. For local development, use localhost or 127.0.0.1.

The Form Does Nothing On Submit#

If your page refreshes when you click Submit, or nothing happens at all, the FormBeep script might not be loading.

Solution:

  1. Open your browser’s Developer Tools (F12 or Right Click -> Inspect).
  2. Go to the Console tab. Check for errors related to formbeep.js.
  3. Check the Network tab to see if formbeep.js was blocked by an ad-blocker or CSP (Content Security Policy).
  4. Ensure the <script> tag was placed correctly in your HTML (preferably right before </body>).

Are Submissions Working but You’re Not Receiving WhatsApps?#

  1. First, we send a notification indicating a new form was submitted on your site.
  2. If you don’t see this first message, verify that you have added your WhatsApp number correctly in the Numbers section of the dashboard, and that you completed the QR verification process.
  3. Your plan limits may have been exhausted for the month. Check your dashboard to ensure you have messages remaining.
